Aber Falls Whisky is a quintessential Welsh whisky. It is produced from malted barley from surrounding farms, reduced with water from an eponymous waterfall, bottled and aged directly on site. This whisky will be refined in three different casks: bourbon cask, new American oak cask, and finally sherry cask. All these steps will result in a fruity, indulgent whisky with a sweet finish. This will give us notes of citrus, vanilla, clove, dried fruits, hazelnut, chocolate, and dried red fruits with sweet spices. Aber Falls is a more than indulgent whisky, accessible and easy. This whisky is a very pleasant surprise, and is a safe bet for beginners or for lovers of light and fruity whisky.

There are only four operating distilleries in Wales, including Aber Falls. Located on over 600 hectares of land, with brand-new distillation equipment, the distillery is named after Aber Falls because it is located in the north of the country, near a waterfall of the same name, a waterfall that is a source of pride for the country. It is a 100% local distillery, reflecting both local expertise and raw materials. For this purpose, the distillery uses malted barley from nearby farms and spring water from the legendary waterfall.

Of course, the distillation, bottling, and aging process is all carried out on-site, in order to capture the unique character of the Welsh terroir. Today, the distillery not only produces whisky but also uses the expertise of its local craftsmen to create gins.
