A rum with a complex aromatic palette. Aging in ex-bourbon casks that previously contained a cognac-based spirit gives it a full, silky texture. Matured partly in oak barrels at Château Du Breuil.
English founders John Davy and Francis Gooding purchased land near the Albert River in Australia in 1865. Beenleight is named after their former farm in Devonshire, southwest England.
Cotton was their first crop, but a more lucrative alternative presented itself with sugarcane. Thus, Beenleigh Artisan Distillers was founded.
