Rum with natural sweetness, with a beautiful roundness and fruity aromatic notes due to aging in ex-Sherry Olorosso casks.
The story dates back to 1670, when several sugarcane plantations and producers created an export cooperative.
However, to this day, only one distillery remains in Diamont on the East Bank of Demerara. A small still is used specifically to produce a complex and highly concentrated rum.
