Yushan Sherry Cask is surely one of the most delicious whiskies in existence. Double distillation in a Scottish pot still, aging for 4 years in a 500L sherry cask that previously contained Oloroso sherry (for 15 years), gives this whisky complex, intense, gourmet flavors, and length. This translates into stewed fruit, brioche, bitter orange and dried fruit. It is non-chill filtered and has a natural color.

Nantou Distillery, Taiwan's second largest distillery, takes its name from the neighboring city. It was established in 2008 and remains owned by the TTL Group. It is located in a mountain range called Bagua, with the Maoluo River at its feet. This valley is primarily known for the quality of its tea. Mr. Puli Pan is a key figure in the distillery's history, applying expertise that combines tradition and modernity, knowledge acquired during various trips to Japan, France, Germany, and Scotland. Omar was the first name for the whiskies, replaced by Yushan Single Malt a few years later. Yushan refers to the highest mountain in Taiwan. This highest peak on the island of Taiwan is also called Jade Mountain.
